Guess What?
I didn't get the house. Someone bid $66 more than me and got it. I had no way to know and I really think it was God's way of telling me that he had something to do with it. I had prayed that the bid would be close, so I would know it was his will. I was thinking close with them bidding less than me though ;-/
I think if God had seen a little more progress in me in some areas that "we" are working on ;-) then I would be moving now.

I'm so sorry that you didn't get the house, Moggy. Of course, you know that there is another one with your name all over it somewhere. Keep looking. If you send me your specs, I would love to help you search online. It's just one other way I can procrastinate from doing school work. ;P
If I sent you my specs, I won't be able to see.
Sorry. for you but like the Lincoln quote
bret - It's amazing how something as simple as a quote can speak to me and cheer me up.
I think you should just get a biiiig box and live in it. It's really cheap, and you can live pretty much anywhere they don't have cops.
I have a tent and I can stay at a state park, thanks for the suggestion ;-)
Sorry....I don't know that it's so much God 'punishing you' by not being where you ought to be as maybe just "not now, not that one, will you continue to trust Me on this one, Moggy?" ... of course I don't know, just my 2cents.
I thought Janet was your friend.... ;-)

Al - I'm not thinking of it as punishment, just God trying to help me move in the right direction. That Janet ;-) I still think she is my friend.
